Sinopsis
La Habana, año 1914.
Comienza la Primera Guerra Mundial en Europa y en Cuba se viven días de zozobra y frustración. Es en este marco que Amada, burguesa conservadora y aferrrada a obsoletos valores, vive su utópica pasión con el primo Marcial, joven inconforme que tratará de arrebatarla de un mundo que carece ya de significado, mientras que ella, por su parte, intentará integrarlo a su código de sujeción y represión.
Este debate, así como la pasión entre ambos, no tendrá esperanzas.
Inspirado en la novela "La Esfinge" de Miguel de Carrión
Synopsis:
Havana, 1914.
The First World War begins in Europe, and in Cuba we start living keel and frustration days. This is the environment where Amada, conservative bourgeois and grasped to obsolete values, lives her utopian passion with his cousin Marcial, a nonconformist young man that will try to snatch her from a world that lacks of any meaning, while she on the other hand will try to integrate him to her submission and repression way of life
