Sinopsis
Film inspirado en la vida y obra de Julio García Espinosa, fundador del ICAIC y uno de los más importantes directores de cine en Cuba. A través de entrevistas a destacadas personalidades de la cultura cubana, se recorre analíticamente el desarrollo de las luchas y contradicciones de este organismo por llevar adelante su política cultural.
Synopsis:
A film inspired by the life and works of Julio Garcia Espinosa, founder of the Cuban Institute of Film Art and Industry (ICAIC) and one of the most important film directors of Cuba. Through interviews to prominent personalities of Cuban Culture, it takes us through an analysis of the development of the struggles and contradictions of this institution in its pursuit to develop its cultural policy.
